PSA: Content Removed from Facebook and Reddit Temporary Ban

Bad news for me today..

Woke up to this.. A lot of my posts with photo uploads instead of just links have been removed from Facebook.

I'm sorry @/Lego, I am still a supporter but I have no money.. SAD.

This will make me post less on Facebook.. But I'll still be fairly active on blogger.. I hope.

Just some more pictures of what I received from Facebook.

This also happened to the FB page KO Bricks. It feels really bad especially since we're not sellers anyway, we simply share. Reviewing/being a hub for bootlego news..

ON OTHER NEWS, REDDIT HAS ALSO BANNED ME.

Though this one is entirely my fault, and I apologize. I was unaware.

I didn't know that it was spam to keep posting links to your site.. I thought that the subreddit rules were it.. So yeah, I apologize. I'll still be joining the discussions at Reddit after 3 days [from March 24, 2017], though it's really discouraging to keep the blog active after all this..

  1. Don't be discouraged. Keep the blog active. There are plenty of people who enjoy and depend on your efforts.

  2. Wow lego is desperate. They think if they kill the spread of lepin or keep it to a minimum then less people will find out about their options. If they can't get them at the source they are trying another tactic.

  3. You and KO had the quickest and most information about these sets. Hope to see you back on reddit unless they shut down the bootlego part as well.

    1. Thanks man :) I'll try and be back on Reddit soon, but the blog's staying for sure so don't worry about this :D

    2. Just had a nice email from Lego about herobloks.com threatening me with legal action, so your blog might not be safe.

I've politely told them to do one. How can IP law be so crazy that you can't even acknowledge the existence of a bootleg product?

    3. What the hell.. That's sad.. Weird thing is we're not even selling or anything like that, just sharing and being reference sites..

  4. Actually a smart move. If they made no headway with China why not threaten some modest bloggers and Facebook sites. It's either phase two or legal stuff in China can't stop the flow.

    1. Yeah, the attack goes to us "supporters" instead of the bootleggers themselves cause they can't touch them in China..

  5. Lego is fighting hard against bootleg now. I guess they are starting to feel the huge drop in their sales. That's why they must stop selling overpriced plastic.

    1. Yeah. They have been very aggressive especially in Facebook.. And yeah they are so expensive.. Maybe they do need to pay license and all but in third world countries, it's still very expensive. Like I think I saw one Ghostbusters HQ for around USD500 when Lepin costs more or less USD100.. Haha
