XINH X0164: Romans, Crusaders, Spartans, and other Warrior Minifigs Preview

Hi, army builders.

XINH 643 - Centurion
XINH 644 - Spartacus
XINH 645 - Crusader
XINH 646 - Spartacus
XINH 647 - Rome Commander
XINH 648 - Heavy Infantry
XINH 649 - Spartacus
XINH 650 - Arvoesine

I think they're all flesh faced except for 647 which I posted just a while ago.. Haha, only saw this now.

Really interested in the Crusader one! Also, I think the names may be wrong but hey, we should be used to that by now with bootlegs! Haha.

  2. Lol the crusader is a bootleg version of Enlighten's crusader in 1502B (he has this or a very similar printing below his armour piece). At least the XINH version comes with a shield and a cape, which makes him different a bit.

    1. Oh yeah that's why the helmet looks familiar.. haha

    2. The enlightened knight comes with removable black horns and really good removable chest armour. This one is good too and better yet should be available in singles where enlightened you have to get the whole set.

    3. Will pick up this set plus some extra knights. Oh my castle will have a huge army defending.

    4. The printing on the Enlighten crusader is excellent. Just received two of those the day before yesterday ;D Not sure whether XINH can reach the quality. At least based on the photo on this blog the XINH version has less printing details (the small section around the neck with printed chain armour seems to be plain white). In any case the helmet is a different one; the XINH one looks similar to the Lego great helm (but difficult to judge from this single photo), while the Enlighten crusader comes with a unique helmet with unique horn pieces. Man I live the minifig :D

    5. And yeah, these Enlighten minifigs can be bought separately in principle. They come with a box each, but there's no guessing as the content is indicated. ;)

It might be difficult to find someone selling them separately though. At Taobao it's easy, but this might not be an option for most of you. And the crusader is certainly an attractive minifig, I had to wait for weeks till I found someone who sold them separately (the other minifigs were available separately all the time). Got them for 2x 8 Yuan (~ 1 €), the other minifigs were ~ 4 Yuan.

    6. Enlighten's teutonic knight is awesome especially with the armor off. I wish I could army build them but would have to buy the entire set every time.

Oh and I've been entertaining the idea of purchasing stuff on Taobao (way more stuff for even less than Ali) via Superbuy, however I'm a bit concerned with how much shipping will end up being from the warehouse to Canada. Anyone with some experience can give me tips on that?

    7. teutonic knight is amazing. An army of those would be great. I might have to try a different site. I even asked the aliexpress store if they would sell just the knight but no go. Xenobia, I'm in canada too. Let me know what you decide. If I see singles on aliexpress I'll let you guys know.

    8. I know what you mean. He looks amazing with or without the armour. Best knight out there.

    9. You can buy the Enlighten knight at http://www.brickfiguretoys.com/product/teutonic-knight-enlighten-en1502b-006-enlighten/ for 3 $. I have no experience with that shop though.

    10. Uggg I'm a 1-1.30$ minifigure guy. One I'm cheap. Two the canadian dollar sucks.

  3. LOL someone bought a whole lot of POGO accessories and are now making minifigs with them, awesome! Love these. That roman commander looks more like Leonidas from 300 than anything else really. These mix of different flesh/yellow color with the previous set however is a tad annoying. I would prefer all of one or the other (preferrably flesh).

    1. Yeah lol I don't get whey they had to mix in the colors, but at least it looks like the Leonidas one is the only yellow skinned.

  4. I think 647 are the Spartans not Romans. They aren't wearing armor and the Roman commander helmets usually had a crest that ran ear to ear.
