Unknown 1605: Assorted Minifigs with Soldiers, Couples, and More Review

Possibly WM Brand? But can't tell for sure!

Just a random group, great for city fillers!
It sucks that the hair pieces for the males are all the same!

The preview picture.

Let's start with the figs with skirt pieces. The plastic quality and printing quality (in terms of colors and details) are great. The faces seem off at times, but they're not too bad too.

But wow, no back prints at all. This goes for everyone in the set..

Same comments here with the ones on top. The soldier's helmet seems to go too low though, but the plastic quality of all the helmets are great.

Soldier's face looks like it's been dirty and doesn't look like a beard... The cop's glasses look great and unique though and so is the Scarecrow's button-eyed face.

Cool guy over here!

Yeah no back prints.

And underneath the soldier's armor, no printing at all..

That one on the right is Mr Vampire aka Lam Ching Ying.. Weird that he's here, and also, WM released him before (but with accessories) which is why I think this may be a WM set. He seems well made enough though.
White hair guy's torso seems off, as in the print seems like it was shrunken done. For the girl, other than some minor differences in terms of color and other small prints, seem identical to Marvel's Peggy Carter

No back print or alternate face.

Probably the same guy with different costumes? Well, plastic quality is great like the others, and the printing too, until you get to the back.

Ugh.

TL;DR - Printing is BAD. but mainly because there are no back prints [and alternate faces] at all. Plastic is GREAT. I just loved the gloss and the material; the head even reminds me of real TLG minifig heads, but that's just me. It sucks though that the males all have the same hair piece.. (Just one in white instead of black)

Got them from AngeloMarcus Greenhills, as usual! They always have the new stuff, and sometimes stuff I never even saw online..

  1. The one with the blue sash seems to be a copy of Minifigs.me Queen Elizabeth II. Could probably do with a head/hair swap with the red dressed woman.
