Kopf KF6027: Voltron Pilots Minifigs Review

First previewed here!

This'll be a pretty straight forward review.

First of all, each of the figs come with one blaster like this.

Pretty basic designs. Some might prefer it, some might not. For quality though, I think the plastic is great, but the printing is a bit more complicated to judge.

If you look closely, you'll see that the colors (red, pink, etc.) are the molds and not printed on. Usually, it's those that are printed and not mold, because printing white isn't as easy as printing darker colors. So for this, the white can come out a bit less solid.. It' still not too bad though.

I think the main reason for having the white being printed instead of being the mold is that, for the design team, they just need one design with white print and then slap those onto different colored molds. Saves them the time for making 5 different designs, but then again they used 5 different colored molds instead..?

Moving on, these are the faces. Accurate enough?

No back faces but at least we have back leg and torso printing!

They all have helmets. And yes, the visors go up and down. There's also that diamond-like design above the visor holes.

Side prints.

They're good enough, honestly, in terms of quality. In terms of design, well I can't tell because I'm not a Voltron fan anyway.

This set makes me wonder though if Lepin or any other brand will clone the upcoming Ideas Voltron.

If you're interested in getting these guys, might as well check out AngeloMarcus Greenhills at Shoppesville Plus, Greenhills. I'm not sure if you have to buy this as a set, but honestly it's much better as a set anyway and well bootlego minifigs sell for cheap anyway!
