Another set with new and unique molds!
PG370 - Batman (Detective Comics 1939)
PG371 - Black Panther (Classic Comics)
PG372 - Clayface
PG373 - Captain America (Wild West)
PG374 - Flash
PG375 - Jubilee
PG376 - Terminator
PG377 - Arnim Zola

Let's start with these two black mammals. Classic Batman and Classic Black Panther. I'm not sure where the classic Batman's design came from, but the Black Panther is a copy of TLG's first Marvel Superheroes Game's Black Panther.
Moving on, Batman's helmet mold looks great from afar, but look closer and you'll see some inconsistenices and left over plastic/nubs here and there. It's a shame really, but it's not as bad as other stuff at least. The prints are also average with some scratches and smudges here and there, sadly. For Black Panther, torso is much better. It's still not great but it's good enough. The helmet mold is also better but maybe that's because it seems simpler to make BP's helmet than Batman's.

Side view. Batman has side prints, wow! I hope POGO continues this, but first I hope they improve the print quality in itself. Next issue is how the cape of Black Panther is longer than usual; see how it's hitting the plate? It's like that for a number of recent POGO figs.

What does it look like underneath their interesting helmets? Batman doesn't have eyes, sadly, but I guess POGO did this so they didn't have to worry too much about aligning the helmet's eye holes with the figs' faces. Black Panther has the usual faace though but with a gold bandana thing to replicate Panther's gold eyes.

Back print. Same comments.

Back print. Same comments. See the nub at the back Batman's helmet? They could've done better.. sigh

Clayface. Yes the "body" is one whole head accessory.

Sorry about the glare but what you see is what you get. Good enough mold, plastic is consistent with regular plastic for minifigs and the prints are minimal but also look great!

Back view.

Now to Flash, Terminator, and Arnim Zola. These are their accessories. Two orange lightning pieces for Flash and a [new] shotgun [mold] for Terminator.

The details on Flash are good, but I personally prefer the official one that both POGO and XINH actually released too anyway. Terminator's design doesn't look like it's for minifigs. Arnim Zola is great and maybe that's because the design originally came from the Marvel Avengers game.

Side prints. Nice arm prints for Flash. Plastic nub on Terminator's hair; remove with nail clippers or hobby knives!

I love Terminator's alternate face though!! No back leg prints, unfortunately, but it doesn't break the fig.

Moving on to Jubilee. POGO Jubilee on the left and WM on the right. I really can't tell which I prefer. In terms of quality, WM wins for me, but for the design, I can't tell which I prefer. Maybe it's also good to mix and match them. The biggest problem for me would be POGO's inconsistent skin color. The torso's skin is a bit more faded and less bright..

Back prints. WM also has an alternate face.

Side prints. WM has side leg prints.

Generally a good set. The new molds from Batman, Black Panther, and Clayface are great. The Flash is a great alternative! Terminator is much better compared to other Terminator figs we've seen before. Jubilee is a great alternative if you didn't like WM's or Kopf's. Arnim Zola is a great copy, but I'm still waiting for his comics counterpart!

I got like half of them last Wednesday from AngeloMarcus Greenhills and the other last Saturday, so I just combined the review.

  3. Batman is called the "1st Appearance" of batman in comics, if you guys into correctness of the batman fig, the gloves should be purple which you should have in your parts bin. -Ritche H.

  4. I like the trench and hair on the Pogo Jubilee better and I rather like the face print with raised glasses, but you're absolutely right about the torso - will probably mix-n-match.
