Printing is fine. Not a fan of the leg printing though, but hey even official minifigs can't avoid that kind of "slapped on" design. The hair mold wasn't good, it just felt unfinished. If you look closely, you can see the plastic parts that weren't removed from the molding process. Of course this is a quality control issue from POGO, as usual. Just order 2 or more of the same minifig if you want better chances in terms of quality.. Maybe it's even a marketing thing from POGO's side..
Nothing on the side.
The back printing wasn't as sharp as the front one's. Not sure if this is an isolated case or if it's really like that. At least it's not the other way around though. Also, better shots of the badly made hairpiece.
Her alternate face. Since Dark Phoenix is supposed to be evil, then I made the angry face her main face.
Have you got the DOLL minifig? Is this any better? Or worse?

I have the Doll one. The quality is actually really good. I'd put it up there with Decool. But it doesn't have the boots printed, so I'll be getting this as well. Maybe mix and match parts.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I just saw a picture of the DOLL one and yeah, the legs don't look good. Glad to see POGO didn't do the same
DeleteI've never seen that SY Jean Grey. How old is it or do you know the number?
ReplyDeleteSY208! :D http://mybrickstore.blogspot.com/2015/05/sheng-yuan-sy208-black-bolt-magneto-dr.html
DeleteMy wish came true when I saw the Red Phoenix, now I also wish that Pogo release a Jean Grey like yours - Jpoks!
ReplyDeleteYeah I wish so too. Wish they'd release a whole set with classic X-Men characters that aren't available yet like Jubilee or even classic white suit Storm!
