You have already reviewed them in August ;) http://downtheblocks.blogspot.de/2017/08/tiger-35120-heroes-of-three-kingdoms.html And yeah, the set number is really "53120", for whatever reason there was another "53120" with nine minifigs before already ( http://downtheblocks.blogspot.de/2017/04/enlighten-53120-king-of-glory-minifigs.html ).
Funnily, there's also a 53121 with minifigs similar to the 1st 53120, but with some additional equipment and with some minifigs altered a bit, see https://detail.1688.com/offer/553310825414.html?spm=b26110380.sw1688.mof001.15.6dBBZR
And there's another four-set variant Tiger 53121, see https://detail.1688.com/offer/560232454734.html?spm=b26110380.sw1688.mof001.7.6dBBZR . I had to laugh when seeing the blue guy, he drives a BMW XD Maybe they thought it would be funny to violent some more copyrights XD
In any case, here https://www.zixundingzhi.com/zhugeliang/8178db680d5dc6c0.html is a review of the first 53120 set, and when scrolling downward at http://jump2.bdimg.com/p/5318020861 (they start with a brand "818" review) there's a review of the second 53120 set, continued at the 2nd page. I really DO NEED that red samurai minifig, luckily I was able to find a Taobao shop that sells him separately. :D
LY has done a version of this red samurai character recently as well, see https://detail.1688.com/offer/559859869743.html?spm=a261b.2187593.1998088710.432.bRUvJm , so has an unknown brand, see https://imgsa.baidu.com/forum/w%3D580/sign=d7ba8e4b790e0cf3a0f74ef33a47f23d/8fa1ae1b0ef41bd5ea86cbad5ada81cb3bdb3dd5.jpg Obviously I want all three versions, but yeah. As stated before, it can turn out to be very tricky to impossible to find sellers at Taobao selling minifigs of a certain "set" separately. And I still have a bad feeling to order a full set of e.g. 8 minifigs of which I would basically hide away the other 7.
Useless information episode 461 ;) : Based on a Youtube in-game video I think this red samurai is in fact an "evolution" version of the blue swords warrior character as seen in DLP 9051, JLB 3D529, Lepin 03041, LY 69003, who seems to represent and/or is inspired by real-life Miyamoto Musashi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miyamoto_Musashi . But maybe this red guy is just a replacement skin / model for the original blue guy, no idea. I'm not into King of Glory, just liking some of the associated minifigs. ;D
Oederland, I've made a word document compilling all of the exisiting KoG sets and wanted to share it that with you. I saw your forum thread on the subject and notice I had a few sets more than you had (and you had some I didn't) and also some product codes you're missing. I'm also in the process of taking pictures of all the sets I currently own for better reference. If that interest you at all let me know you email and I'll sent it to ya.
This would certainly be interesting! The list at lepinboard.de is still work-in-progress, e.g. just a couple of minutes ago I came across a new product code (LELE 39050), and as can be seen, for various sets I have found no proper photos so far. Unfortunately I seem to be the only guy at that site so far who is interested in King of Glory (I'm rather into Asian historic-fantasy stuff, but well ;) ). Thus I've retrieved reviews including photos mainly via some Chinese social network sites, but I have no idea how I should be able to get in touch with those people for questions.
So yeah, thanks for the suggestion! Feel free to contact me at oederland AT gmx DOT ch . It would especially be interesting to hear how different brands compare to each, as some of those seem to have nice printing, but rather poor ABS quality or vice versa.
