POGO PG1164: Alien Xenomorph with Skeleton Body and Maul Legs Review

First previewed here.

This is different from PG1050 (on the left) and PG1214 (on the right).

This fig is tall. What makes it tall are Darth Maul's legs. I think they look good, but they're still not ideal for me. Still, it's arguably the best right now that's easily accessible for the manufacturers.
The more important part here, in my opinion, is the better head mold. The teeth are finally colored! The jaws can also move!

Two-piece head! It's stuck there pretty good, but it's also a bit loose in terms of movement. It's kinda hard to keep the mouth open or closed, but even then, the movement is limited because of the small space available.

The head is also separate from the tail piece.
The side view.

The back view.

At an angle.

In case you're wondering, here's the whole body without the tail and head.

Some might miss it, but the new tail and head molds have much better details than the old ones. Well to be fair, they seem to have different designs in the first place. It just seems like the new ones are more defined.

For some reason, the head and tail molds felt and looked better than the skeleton and the legs. It's really weird since those parts have been around for much longer now. The parts were also easily removable, which might be good, but sometimes it's frustrating because the parts were too loose and hard to pose properly. Still worth it though in my opinion, especially given the price.

This is the best of the three, and luckily AngeloMarcus Greenhills has all of them. If you want the classic minifig look, then go for PG1050, if you want the most accurate look, go for this PG1164, and if you want an accurate look but at a better, more accurate height then get PG1214.
