POGO PG1177, PG1178: Guardians of the Galaxy Yondu and Drax Minifigs Review

Previewed here with a couple other interesting POGO figs.

Two kinda unexpected figs at this time..


Both are... well they're not good and almost could be considered bad. The reason they're not all bad is because their designs are very complicated and might really be hard to reproduce. Now I know that shouldn't be an excuse, but compared to other brands that only have to make simple designs and yet still produce crap figs, then this is pretty... okay.

Plastic quality is the usual from POGO which isn't great.




Thankfully the sides have prints too.


Yondu has no back print and it's because he comes with a coat.


The coat is similar to some recently released POGO figs with coats too. As much as it looks great since it's somewhat leathery, it's still not good for me because of its thickness. It's so thick that sticking the arm to the torso is hard enough then the articulation becomes limited -- non-existent..

Two okay figs. They should've been better since they're really plain except for the print designs.. I do hope POGO keeps improving..

I still prefer the "original" designs of Yondu and Drax, but why not have both. If you're from the Philippines, go ahead and bring your old Yondu and/or Drax to AngeloMarcus Greenhills then compared them with these two. (Though to be fair, these two seem to be more accurate to the movie and less kid-oriented.)
