C034 - Pong Krell
C036 - Ithorian Jedi Master
Let's start with Pong Krell. I think the plastic quality on this is pretty good. There's a right amount of gloss that makes it look good and not so cheap. The lightsabers have those bubbles in them, but even TLG sabers sometimes, if not all the time, have those as well.
The eyes are Pong Krell's biggest flaw here. Might be an isolated issue though, hopefully your Pong Krell figs have better eyes.
Other than the eyes though, I see no other issues with him. Even articulation was pretty good considering he has four arms.
Looks better on the side because the eyes aren't that visible.
The back. The hair might have been painted on better, but it's not horrible.
The top part of Pong Krell's torso is another torso similar to what we see in Ninjago's Garmadon. The head is not removable though. The grip is good and not loose at all.
Now for the Ithorian Jedi Master. No issues here. The overall quality is the same with Pong Krell's, except there aren't any eye issues, mainly because it's much simpler for this guy.
Not much going on on the sides, but the head's mold has good detailing!
Same with the back. Good job, Lele, for the mold of the head.
The head is removable. The grip had no problems; it wasn't too tight or too loose.
Overall, these are two good figs that make me excited for more Lele figs in the future!
There was a time that Lele kept previewed a lot of minifigs from various themes, and until now a lot of them have not been made. Hopefully, Lele is just taking their time to create decent figs like these ones instead of focusing on quantity. I guess it's okay that we're waiting rather than getting them sooner but with blurry prints and cheap looking plastic *ehem* pogo *ehem*.
