WM WM6042: Overview of More of WM's Wizarding World Minifigs

First previewed here, but the others are also in our WM set list.

I won't be looking at them one by one anymore and will instead grade them below, but before that I might as well show some of the highlights I think you guys will want to see.

The accessories that came with these minifigs have been really great, and not just for Wizarding World collectors. Here's a briefcase for example, the first of its kind in the bootleg world. I prefer this over the usual briefcase we see included with minifigs, but this one is also bigger which might be better or worse depending on your preference.

What Newt is holding is how the briefcase looks like when it's closed. Additionally, Niffler that Newt came with was adorable and felt really solid. The only problem was that there's a black mark on the nose which hopefully is just an isolated case and yours will be better.

Professor Trelawney also comes with these tea cup and tea plate accessories which are first apperances in the bootleg world as well, as far as I know (within minifig-only releases). The prints on the plate are also well done.

Here we have uniquely printed bread, and even the mold is new if I'm not mistaken.

Credence has a printed piece.

Mad-Eye Moody came with a staff, the potion bottle [that he's holding in a wrong manner here]. He also comes with a different hair piece and face that might have something to do with the movie/plot which I can't remember (sorry!).

Here's the other face and hair. The potion bottle has a gold handle which he's currently holding [in the wrong way]. The plastic nub on it is quite annoying though.

Neville comes with the hairpiece with printed and molded headphones, yay.

We also get a hotdog + bun accessory which I think is rare, if not new, with single-sale minifig releases.

WM's Wizarding World Grading

Print Quality: 4.5/5
The 0.5 deduction comes from the minor quality control issues, but do note too that since I have more of them in this review, then the chances of defective figs was also higher. Additionally, some of the colors seemed different from the preview pictures, but this might be an issue with the preview pictures instead. Other than that though, these prints were really good and I had no issues with them.

Plastic Quality: 4.5/5
Great plastic here too, didn't feel or look cheap. Even the accessories' plastic molds were good, including the new and unique ones!

Build Quality: 5/5
Articulation and building these minifigs were no issue for me. I'll also note again how generous WM was with the accessories included with these minifigs that made building them even more delightful!

Design Choice: 4.5/5
If you have no plans or cannot afford to purchase the official TLG minifigs, then the grade could be a 5 because not a lot of other brands are doing many of WM's Wizarding World minifigs.

Do I think these are worth it? Sure I do, but only if you really can't afford the originals. The originals would get grades of 6/5 and will always be better than imitation products. Though if you're only looking at the bootleg parts of the industry, then these are definitely good. So good that when I got to AngeloMarcus Greenhills and line up, the people looking for Harry Potter figs end up sad because many of them have been sold out already.
