XH1428 - White Queen
XH1429 - Mystique
In the preview picture, I was wondering what kind of new fire accessory the figs had, turns out they were using Ghost Rider flames [for the head] with those one-stud holders. Clever and generous for customizers!
Iceman gets something similar but with a transparent blue Statue of Liberty hairpiece instead. Well it does look like sharp, deformed ice from a distance.
Finally, Psylocke gets a transparent violet sword, accurate to how her sword really looks like!
Mystique's face looks off here.
Scratches too on Mystique's poorly printed side arm prints.
Gotta give them credit for putting side torso prints for Psylocke to better reflect how she looks in the comics, though I wonder why they didn't do the same for Emma Frost and Mystique.
Colossus gets another head while Iceman gets an ice surfboard.
I could argue that that hair piece for Iceman could instead be used as an accessory at times since he doesn't always have hair in ice form anyway.
I have no idea why Colossus came with a spare head instead of back head prints when he has hair that covers it anyway. Maybe XINH didn't want even just the mouth from showing under the hair? Nevertheless, having an extra head is almost always preferred since we can use them for custom figs!
Now for some poor quality control issues that will lead me to not liking this set as much as other XINH figs:
The Sentinel and Emma Frost have uncentered torso prints. They're not too obvious on picture, but when I was building them, I could easily see it.
Scratches on the gold prints and lack of side prints for the torso and legs! Not to mention, the arm prints on all of them don't go all around and are just slapped on.
And something that isn't even a quality control issue: the design! Why did they choose these face prints!? There was a time that XINH produced weird looking minifigure faces, and it sucks that they might be going back to that route again.
XINH X0277 Grading:
Plastic Quality: 4.5/5
Some of the clear parts aren't as smooth as we'd prefer, but generally the plastic felt and looked great!
Print Quality: 2.5/5
Some parts look well printed but there were just too many issues with the prints that I didn't like.
Build Quality: 4.5/5
No issues with articulation and the build process. Parts also fit well with each other. I could also give it a 5/5 instead, but the flame accessories looked a bit off for hand accessories since they're really for the head; but again, this is preferred for people who want to stock up on extra hairpieces!
Design Choice: 2/5
These are all either new variants or improved variants of existing X-Men minifigures. Nothing new unfortunately. Plus, the face design on some of them are just plain horrible.
Would I recommend them? If you're huge X-Men fans, these might still be worth it. I recommend changing out some parts though like Colossus' head or Psylocke's head.
Also, XINH is releasing a set of Star Wars hologram minifigures; why does that matter? Well if the colors match, you can get one of the non-printed legs there and give it to Iceman for the full Iceman look!
If you're also in the Philippines, I recommend checking the bags first in AngeloMarcus Greenhills if you're gonna get a well-printed minifig so that you don't end up with lots of scratches or misaligned prints.

Helo DTB, can i suggest that for reviewing minifigs or accessories that has dark colour, u use perhaps a lighter background? Maybe white coloured background? Because the detail on Psylocke sword seems to be lost because of the background.
