Clever product? Well, it might be a ripoff of Crazy Arms from Crazy Bricks (a legit, third-party Lego accessory manufacturer). Their arms work differently on the inside, but they look almost identical as these ones from AliExpress. The Crazy Arms are also cheaper than these ones from AliExpress so just pick it up from Crazy Arms especially if shipping is cheaper and/or quicker from them.
Check out their Lego minifigure bent elbow/straight arms here. I recommend supporting them too by purchasing their other items for your Lego and Lego-compatible minifigures! It'll be a win-win because you'll have better looking minifigures while supporting their business and designers!
