Still waiting for these SY Star Wars sets

Haven't seen these ones sold online or in my local stores yet. Waiting specifically for SY's sets because of their better quality, in terms of both bricks and minifigs. I guess the downside for SY is that they release late in exchange for quality.

Hoping SY's being busy right now preparing new Star Wars sets or maybe even Captain America Civil War sets. Heard that Lepin (who has released so many Star Wars The Force Awakens sets already) was okay but more of a hit or miss when it comes to brick quality/completeness, and SY minifigs are still far more superior.

(Note: I think the Tie Fighter in the above set is a Tie Advanced Prototype (From Star Wars Rebels?) and the one below isn't an AT-AT for sure because the AT-ATs are bigger. That walker doesn't appear in the movies and is exclusive to Star Wars Rebels at this point I think. Looks more like an AT-ST instead of an AT-AT.

  1. I got the Bela version of the tie fighter and I must say the brick quality was extremely good. In fact better than a SY brick of the super heroes javelins jet I got.

  2. ^ Yup there's Bela version of these as well and it's cheaper than SY (at least if to compare with price on the pic).
Fighter is advanced protitype indeed. Original lego http://www.lego.com/en-gb/starwars/products/tie-advanced-prototype-75082
And I couldn't find original walker on lego site. Hmm

  3. I think I'm gonna try out some Bela sets as soon as I get the chance, just really afraid about minifig quality. Scared for unclear/unaligned/scratched prints.

    1. I've bought Bela minifigs set once. Minifigs were far from perfect. Anyway the brick parts - stands with weapons were fine.
      They must've improved since then.

    2. I hope so, cause they have some real nice sets out there, just too afraid to buy because I might end up wasting money huhu. But anyway, I hope to get their Star Wars sets with the 4 minifigs each, then compare them with my SY ones. Though I'm not quite sure yet when I can do so, my local stores aren't that near my house. :(

  4. Bela ripped off a lot of Lego sets. Not that I have a problem with that ;)

If they have indeed improved brick quality, that's really good. I wanted to buy quite a lot of Bela sets in the past but never did because of bad reviews.

To be safe though, I think its best to buy the newer sets such as Scooby Doo or SWTFA range.
