ReplyDeleteFirstly, this site didn't make these figures, he's just sharing something he found. Pogo have made them.
DeleteSecondly, you don't actually own the rights to these figures. WB / DC do. You copied their designs to begin with and are now upset that others have done the same thing? There's no guarantee that Pogo even got them from you, they may have never seen yours and also have taken them from the end of the movie.
I think your figs are great, Bricksanity, but as the comment above says, POGO might have copied these from the movie itself or any of the concept art/books that came with the movie, just like a lot of their other clones.
DeleteAnd yeah, it's a shame that works, not just yours, but by others too (including TLG's) are being copied, but those original designs will always be superior in terms of everything, except price. A big percent of bootlego buyers are those who don't have the budget for real ones especially custom ones that go from USD10-80 per fig.
I just leave credit to the sources of these clones as much as possible to give the creator some recognition :)

DeleteTLG just announced the disco versions of Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and the Joker. The Joker seems to be the same as pictured here. Batman has a white cowl and gloves, also all the lines in black are in grey. Robin seems to be the same except he has flesh colored legs with white (go-go) boots and I'm guessing a thong. Batman & Robin both have white capes with gold interior. Batgirl is completely new. There's also a Nightwing Robin and Alfred in the classic Batsuit.
ReplyDeleteYup I saw that hehe I bet Lepin will release a copy soon, but I doubt they'll make very accurate figs.. I'll updata asap though when I see a bootlego brand clone these guys (figs and/or set)
