First previewed here!
Honestly, they look great even though I'm no GI Joe fan. Way different from that MOTU set that didn't look too good, even though again, I'm no MOTU fan.
KF353 - Serpentor and KF349 - Firefly
Well-made! Great print quality and details! Plastic quality is also great. And this goes for all the minifigs in this set!
A backpack for Firefly. Matches his whole body too. Also, Serpentor's cape is well made as well as that collar thing.
Yeah, that's the collar thing and it's printed well despite being on cloth.
They've got back printing even though they have back accessories! Good job, hopefully WM Brand follows..
(I'm kinda surprised that even Firefly has back leg printing!)
Side prints for Firefly, but nothing for Serpentor. The Cobra logo on Firefly looks off, or is it just me? His arm print is identical with the other side.
KF355 - Snake Eyes and KF352 - Storm Shadow
The two iconic characters. Kopf didn't disappoint here too. Maybe Snake Eyes' face print is a bit too big? But generally still fine. While Storm Shadow's face might be a bit lower than usual, but the detail on it is amazing. Nothing but good comments regarding these guys.
Their weapons. Wish we had shuriken pieces too, but those sais are also nice. Snake Eyes' SMGs look great too even though they're not TLG molds, as far as I know.
Better view.
Nothing on Storm Shadow's sides, but Snake Eyes does have arm prints and side leg prints!
In addition to the guns, they have swords too! Well two for Storm and one for Snake. They also have sword backpacks! But even though they came with sword backpacks, they still have back prints! Yay! Storm Shadow's well-detailed head doesn't end in the front because that back head print still has some great details!
Moving on to KF348 - Mutt and Junkyard (the dog), KF354 - Wild Bill, and KF350 - Snow Job.
This is Junkyard, right? I love that Kopf has dog molds for us, I hope they make more animals. But for now, this one is also good; it's also got an armor! Hehe.
Cause Matt has Junkyard, then Wild Bill and Snow Job have their own weapons.
Nothing but bad comments for these three. Wild Bill's torso seems a bit dull compared to others but generally he's fine. And I'm no fan of how Matt's sleeves are just slapped on their and not all the way around.
View of Matt's face with face mask. Yes, the helmet's visor/goggles can move up and down.
Side prints.
Back prints. Matt has an alternate face without the face mask which is a welcome addition!
Now for the odd one out: KF351 - Power Girl. She's no exemption though to the good quality the other figs in the set have. Only issue for me would be the legs being less sharp than other elemets and
the side legs have no print which is a shame.
But at least the back legs have printing!
No alternate face though.
UPDATE: Check out XINH's Power Girl here!

TL;DR - The set is great. Power Girl is a weird addition, but still a great set. This set makes me look forward for new KOPF sets!
I got them from AngeloMarcus Greenhills as usual. You can actually see these guys on their great-looking display case to help you decide if you really wanna buy them (yes, you will want to buy them because they're great.).

Absolutely love these! Though I wonder why Storm Shadow's body has been made to look thinner versus all the others that don't do this.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that maybe it was the female Storm Shadow, the one in the IDW comics now, but it doesn't seem as likely.. Oh well haha
DeleteI just received mine and they are excellent. Snake Eyes is really well made and even has that chrome type paint in places like his gernades. I have to agree with everything said in this review.
