BJL 189: Set of 8 Iron Man Minifigs Review (Remakes)

I previewed it here.

Such a missed opportunity from BJL/X.
They just copied an old SY set and they still ended up disappointing.

One of the figs had that hand! Hahaha

But really they had crappy hands because the hands themselves didn't have pegs to attach, they were just thicker and the thickness made it stick into the arms. Also, yes, it says X brand instead of BJL, I guess they're the same company..?

These are the extra parts that honestly felt cheap.

Mark 42 and Green Lantern Iron Man.

Let's move on to the figs. Might be quick writing these because generally they're horrible.

First of all, both [and the others too] have eye issues on the helmet. Not aligned, and it's not just minor misalignment issues like in SY's or Lepin's, but it's so bad.. Honestly though, I'm fine with the torso and leg prints. Biggest issues so far are: Long necks, bad helmet prints, FLESH arms, inconsistent prints.

Even the head print is horrible. Inconsistent too throughout the figs.

Mark 41 Bones and Mark 25 Striker

More helmet issues. Bones even has some gold on his black on the helmet. Also, same issues as the ones above and the ones below tbh.

The face prints are more consistent here at least. But they still look horrible.

Mark 1 / War Machine and Mark 20 Python

Same issues again....

Mark 36 Peacemaker and Mark 22 Hot Rod

Eyes on Hot Rod seem better but still bad. Leg printing issues on both too.

So some behind the scenes observations:

The bad: 

> The helmet masks, as in the attachment of mask to helmet, are loose.

> The legs are very very difficult to stick to baseplates.

> Flesh hands; I guess Tony Stark ran out of money for metal gloves.

> Print errors on helmets/masks.

> Tall necks. (Helmet mold's fault, not head mold's)

> Inconsistent and generally hideous faces.

> Hands + arms are not easily compatible with other brands

The good: 

That ends this review. 

It's only worth it if you are super desparate to get these marks, then at least they're there.

Btw, this set is basically a copy of SY262, almost.
