Decool 0280: TLBM Bane Bigfig Review (Compared to Original TLG Bane)

Very minor issue: that silver paint overlaps to the side of the face which the TLG version didn't have.

Decool vs TLG. 

These two are almost identical from a distance, except for a couple of things below. The biggest difference though, without the backpack accessory, is that TLG is quality is way better in quality. TLG plastic seems less glossy and more matte while Decool's is more glossy, more on the usual bootlego bigfig quality. Does that make the Decool version suck? No, not at all especially considering the price compared to the original TLG version.

Noticeable difference: that rectangle thing above the black boots are a bit smaller on TLG's.

TLG also does the small paint details much better as you can see in the belt buckle. The bigger difference with this paint issue though is how TLG seems to have less paint, more plastic; that means that, the white "fur" for example, is a mold color on TLG's while it's just a paint color on Decool's. You can see that the bottom parts of the white "fur" are not fully colored white, but for TLG's, it is. 

Decool Bane's collar is just all white while TLG's is more "realistic" with just the upper collar being white. More dual molding? Honestly not sure, but quality of TLG is much more consistent, as expected.

Now maybe you've already noticed, but the mold of the venom tubes are different from each other. I'm fine with both designs honestly, but the problem with Decools, and I hope this is an isolated case, is that the green paint isn't spread out.. See, the green is incomplete. Versus TLG's, by the way, wherein the venom looks like it's inside the tube.

More proof that TLG has more molds than Decool. Decool didn't bother to paint the bottom of the feet anymore.. 

Better look at the venom being not painted completely. I guess Chinese Bane doesn't have enough venom to keep him strong? Hahahaha

Despite the nevatives, I still think this fig is worth it. I compared it to the TLG version which is what, probably 10x more expensive on bricklink? Even more if you buy the original bigger set. Of course though, as you saw, TLG quality is also way above.

For value for the money, Decool Bane is still an amazing buy. Hopefully you don't get the depleted venom issue that I have. Maybe, if you're buying from AngeloMarcus Greenhills, you can check the bag first before buying and compare with others to get the better bigfig with more complete venom.

Oh and by the way, the original TLG Bane isn't mine. I just borrowed it, I don't have the money for that... Hahaha
