First previewed here.
The preview got a lot of us excited. This is a fig that people would love to reuse; I mean the Amazons did have a lot of warriors and so getting a lot of these and replacing the face would've been great. Despite that, I think there's an issue that some of you might think is enough reason not to buy this fig..
Before anything though, quality wise this fig is good! The print and plastic quality is great. The hair piece could be better though, as you'll see below.
This is the problem. See how they didn't color the skirt print on the legs.. I don't get why though. I think every Amazon Wonder Woman has this problem; even the preview picture had this issue.
A view of the sides. Great amount of detail on both arms and legs! I would've hoped for side torso prints to better show how the Amazons are wearing tube-like outfits, but this isn't too bad.
What's weird is that they were able to color the side skirts but not the front.. Did their machines forget to print on the front part?
A view of the back. The back leg skirts don't have color too, sadly. It's not as noticeable though because of the stud holes. Generally a great back for the fig too, even the alternate face looks good.
A view with the hair. It feels like a different kind of plastic altogether. It's not bad but I prefer the usual glossy kind of plastic like the usual ones.
Underneath the ponytail is a really hollow mold. I don't mind it though since this will be covered by the head and the torso anyway.
Generally a good fig but ruined by an invisible front/back skirt. I'm hoping that if they remake her, the production line will adjust to print the front and back skirts..
It's been not such a busy few days recently though, especially since it's Holy Week here. Even AngeloMarcus Greenhills is closed, and will open again on Saturday. Hopefully it's accompanied by with new arrivals!
