XP042 is Ned Stark while all the others are generic Stark banner men, most likely.
Let's start with the weapons of XP042, XP043, and XP044. Ned gets his iconic sword: Ice, while the two other Stark soldiers get a sword and bow (with backpack arrow accessory) respectively.
In terms of quality, these are absolutely great. I actually thought that the bottom of the sword handles had plastic nubs, but those are actually well molded design elements.
There are six minifigs in this set and Ned Stark gets a unique accessory: Ice and only one of the six has a bow. That leaves the generic Stark sword, spear, and a Stark shield. The spear and shield are no exception from the excellent mold quality. See that wolf image? That's part of the mold and not just printed and it feels and looks great.
The helmets are also unique as far as I know and they do look like the helmets from the TV show. There's a fin like design on the top of the helmet that's also molded really well and feels solid too.
Three of the six, the non-helmeted ones, came with these arguably unique cloaks.
Two pieces of cloaks, one brown one that seems to resemble the fur part of the Stark cloak and a wide black cape. The picture above shows the furry/soft side.
The other side is rougher. I prefer to have this side on the outside (facing away from where the minifig is facing) but it's really up to preference.
The overall outcome of having both cloth pieces on the fig seemed thick without the head, but you could easily place the head on it and the cloak pieces would stay put nicely.
A look at the figs with their complete accessories. These are the first three, XP042, XP043, and XP044.
Great amount of details on the figs and their faces don't look off. Plastic quality was great. Perhaps some parts seemed loose when it comes to articulation, but nothing that would prevent them from standing up well or holding accessories well.
Sides arms and side legs have prints that are great as well.
Only one small and possibly isolated issue with the back: XP043's (middle) back legs has a small overlap in printing on the leg (orange part).
Now for XP045, XP046, and XP047.
No complaints again. It's practically the same as the ones above, and that's great. Same in terms of quality, because there are some minor differences that other brands/designers might not even bother to make anymore. For example, the guy with the hair has a different torso design from the footmen to show some more uniqueness, maybe because he has a higher rank or something similar. I really admire KORUIT for creating figs that are cohesive yet distinctive at the same time; makes our armies look much better and more realistic.
Same deal with the sides for all of them. Loving the detail.
Alternate faces. I love that one of the footmen has a dead face. It seems kinda funny, but I think it's really like that considering that this is a minifig face and it's difficult to really take it seriously.
Ned's hair + dead footman face + spear = Ned's head. Good MOC? LOL!
Extra hands are included also, of course.
An absolutely amazing set. Army building or not, these guys look great and even the accessories are amazing. I look forward to seeing more from KORUIT. AngeloMarcus Greenhills has had these in stock for some time now, including KORUIT's Kingsguard minifigs (which were also great) in case guys in the Philippines might be interested.

The different guys are Ned's sons I believe.
ReplyDeleteThe other 2 are Rob Stark and John Snow as somebody already said. Koruit is now my favourite manufacturer. I have these figs already and they are fantastic. The helmet is called a sallet.
ReplyDeleteAnother aliexpress seller has them named as hallis Mollen and jory cassel, who were both captain of the guard at winterfell
