WM WM539: Knightmare Batman Minifig Review

First previewed here!

Comes with a submachine gun and a rather thick coat.

As far as I know, Kopf also released one waaay before. Can't tell which is better though since I never got my hands on Kopf's version.

This is TLG's Knightmare Batman. TLG really dislikes coat accessories, which I think is understandable given that the coats prevent the minifigs from having good articulation. More so with this WM539: it looks great but the thick coat makes the arms barely movable especially without damaging the coat itself.

A look at the fig itself. It really looks better with the coat, but as mentioned above, the coat has some disadvantages as well. Though if you're good with the articulation issue, then this is a great fig that I even prefer over TLG's.

He comes with an alternate face and some good printing that extends to the back. The legs could've been better but the back really isn't a big deal since the coat will cover this up.

At first I thought that the arms were dual molded, but they aren't. I don't mind anyway, as long as it's painted on well, and WM did a good job here.

For the helmet, there's a rubber goggles accessory included that you'll have to stretch to fit on Batman's cowl. I'm not sure if this will mean that the rubber will break at some point in the future yet, but it's good so far. Fits in nicely and doesn't feel fragile.

We've yet to see a clone of the official Knightmare Batman from TLG. This one will do for now, but I'm sure some brand will make a clone of the official TLG version soon too.

More reviews from my AngeloMarcus Greenhills haul coming soon! Stay tuned!

  1. My kf192. I like its acessories and the torso painting more than this WM539. But even I liking the kf192's goggles, I think I would prefer this Rubber goggles of the wm539.

  2. I've bought 2 of these and both times the rubber goggles broke. I'm astonished that yours fit on the helmet
