XINH 927, 928, 929: Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Nicky Fury Minifigs Review

Lots of great accessories! Surprisingly, Doctor Strange still came with a baseplate even though he already comes with the big magic saucer piece. Maybe cause it's for Star-Lord?? Haha
(XINH's Polka Dot Man didn't come with a baseplate anymore because it came with a similar saucer piece.)


Strange has so many accessories that he can't hold all of them. Though I do love all of them.. Iron Man also comes with a unique accessory that's a repaint of another TLG mold, right? Quality wise, these things are great. Plastic didn't feel cheap and the print was definitely good. Even though that Eye of Agamotto is flat, the print makes it look good.


XINH 928 is Doctor Strange and XINH 929 is Iron Man. Both very good figs again in terms of plastic and print quality. Perhaps one issue is that Tony's face print isn't as good as the preview picture.


As you can see, the white HUD on Tony's face here looks much better on digital than in real life. Maybe it's a printing limitation?


It's not just Iron Man that gets fancy wings, Strange also comes with a fancy new cape. The cape has prints on the top to further show the Cloak of Levitation's design. I think this cape is a great cape for a Cape of Levitation display build.

A view of the back. Strange's alternate face looks... strange. It's not a huge deal for me since the front face looks fine, but it's still worth noting.

If you're wondering why XINH didn't include an Iron Man helmet, it's because it doesn't fit with the wing parts attached to the body. Also, those wing parts are recolored pieces of Blue Beetle's wings. A good way to reuse it, in my opinion, considering that Tony's nanotech can make so many shapes.




Here's XINH 927 - Nick Fury and he's not such a big deal because there aren't a lot included and this design's been made by at least Sheng Yuan in the past (or a design very similar to this). Still, if you don't have a Nick Fury yet, this one is a great choice especially if you're a fan of the MCU.


Something that we take for granted though is Nick's eyepatch design, and thankfully here it extends to the back too. (Well, not the sides, just the back, but its better than nothing..)

XINH's been previewing a lot of Infinity War minifigs and while they definitely look great, we're also hoping that they actually make new characters too.. Still, I'll be reviewing them as they arrive if AngeloMarcus Greenhills gets them in stock. I do hope that we (the Philippines) catch up soon to the new figs coming out!
