Two Link figs and one Zelda. NO, the player is not Zelda, he/she is Link.
These are the accessories they came with. I'm not a fan of two-part shields because they can get detached easily but the pro is that you can have a flat shield piece instead. The blue+grey sword on the other hand is identical to one of POGO's Voltron figs.
The overall quality of the figs is okay.. Though do note that my Zelda's torso print isn't centered.
She's also using the old leg pieces with the plain old slope.
The hat can attach to the hair piece, yay! Though this also means that it's only compatible with the Link hair piece. Additionally, the hair itself has a weak grip on the head, the bangs simply helped keep it on.
Grading
Plastic Quality: 3.5/5
A lot of Kopf figs, especially recent ones, are definitely better in terms of quality. These are definitely not horrible, but I have certainly seen better. The hair piece, specifically, felt really solid but the plastic also didn't feel as smooth as other molds/brands.
Print Quality: 3.5/5
It can probably be a 3 too considering the misaligned torso for Princess Zelda. The prints were decent enough but again, we've seen better from Kopf. Some prints also looked a bit less solid than other parts which makes print quality look a bit lower.
Build Quality: 3/5
Shield parts don't have a good grip with each other. Sword is a repurposed Voltron sword and feels less solid than other parts (felt a bit rubbery). Also, the Link hair piece simply remained attached because of the bangs and the friction it provided (which might also scratch the heads).
Design: 4.5/5
It's a high 4.5 because we haven't really seen Legend of Zelda minifigs. I wanted to give it a 5, but it's not as great as it could be, and that's coming from a non-Legend of Zelda fan. Do you think it deserves a 5?
Nintendo fans, Zelda fans, video game fans, and minifig fans who simply want new characters, I think these guys are worth it. Link is such an iconic character and I'm glad Kopf noticed and made him; I know it could be better but this fig is still leagues better than getting the same old character with a slightly different design.
