XINH X0227: Red Hood with Printed Helmet, Bane, Riddler, and More DC Minifigs Preview

First previewed here!

XINH 1017 - Bane
XINH 1018 - Riddler
XINH 1019 - Scarecrow
XINH 1020 - Joker (Joaquin Phoenix)
XINH 1021 - Poison Ivy
XINH 1022 - Penguin
XINH 1023 - Batgirl
XINH 1024 - Red Hood

Only the Joaquin Phoenix Joker isn't here yet.

Misprinted face? Or is it the design?

If you were wondering why Riddler's hat looked really cool, it's because it's actually two molds! Hopefully we see more similar setups for more designs.

They fit nicely.

Short movable legs for Penguin.

Slapped on arm printing for Poison Ivy, unfortunately.

Batgirl's cape felt really cheap; it's unfortunate since most XINH capes are really of good quality. Red Hood also has a mildly misprinted helmet and head which you'll see below. The designs aren't centered properly which results to overlapping prints.

Minor misprint(?) on Batgirl's cowl; there's a bit of red plastic/paint on her cowl.

Very unfortunate to have a misprinted Red Hood. I might get another one from AngeloMarcus Greenhills to MOC a Night Thrasher

X0227 Grading

Plastic Quality: 5/5
No issues here. The base minifigs and their accessories felt solid and well-made. Perhaps Batgirl's cape can lower the grade a bit, but that doesn't really fall under plastic quality.

Print Quality: 4/5
It would've been perfect, but we saw some quality control issues that I think really ruined these otherwise great figs.

Build Quality: 5/5
The building process was not hassle. The accessories included are simple but still good, especially Riddler's hat/hair piece. Articulation of the figs was also really good.

Design Choice: 3/5
Maybe a 4.5 or 5 for the Joaquin Phoenix Joker that I don't have yet since it's a new character. For these others though, despite being variants [which is why they are getting 3/5], they're still pretty good designs that might even be worth replacing your older variants over.

Again, while these characters are mostly variants, the designs still look pretty good. The problem I had were misprints, and I'm willing to bet they're isolated issues and yours can be better. If you don't mind the variants, these are well worth it, but if you think your current ones are fine, then feel free to skip these too.

If you have a physical store to buy these guys though, I recommend you to check the sealed bags first before you purchase them in case you see some misprints, etc. That's probably the biggest perk to buying from AngeloMarcus Greenhills, other than actually seeing the figs themselves on display before purchasing. (Something that I hope to help with by posting reviews!)
