An interesting note is that Kopf's plates don't have the Kopf logo this time around. I wonder why.

And of course, if you're not happy with these, XINH also has a Spider-Man Far From Home set incoming.

But of course, the best option is and will always be the original Lego versions! This time, I was able to borrow a Mysterio minifig and Hydro-Man and as such, I'll be able to compare Kopf and WM with them. Let's see how it goes.

KOPF - Lego - WM

From a distance, you wouldn't even notice the differences. Though right off the bat, Kopf copies the original design more accurately. WM's Mysterio has less yellow/gold colors as you can mainly see on the legs and even on the sides of the front torso.

The dome helmet shape among the three seem to be consistent, but there are still some issues that I'll show below.

Same accessories. I think those blast pieces should be green, though given history, I bet XINH will release another more movie-accurate Mysterio down the line.

This angle also shows the difference of Lego's cape from bootlego cape. Though personally, I prefer the type of cape used with Kopf's fig. The soft capes on Lego minifigures feel great, but sometimes they're too thick that they distract you from the torso or head design of the minifigure. WM's cape was also decent but it had a weird shape [probably because of packaging].

It's harder to see on picture, but in person you can easily spot a single plastic nub on the bootleg helmets while it's smooth all around for the Lego Mysterio helmet. Thankfully, it's not so obvious from afar and the light keeps the nub from being too visible.

Again, not much gold elements on WM's minifig.

Kopf - Lego - WM.
Kopf's minifig came with an extra water-stand, or whatever you call that.

I was surprised to see how both WM and Kopf had a hard time replicating Hydro-Man. Kopf's minifig has more greenish or yellowish tone to the supposed-to-be-blue face print and for WM's, it's barely a different blue from the helmet.

I couldn't decide if I preferred WM's or Kopf's, but turning the fig around, Kopf's lack of back print might just be the reason for others not to get him.

Finally a Happy fig, but unfortunately Lego didn't make him look like Happy. Kopf's fig on the left also has an off-looking face unfortunately.

WM's minifig has an alternate face.

 I like WM Nick Fury's pistol's color.

There was a weird smudge on WM Nick Fury's back print, but nothing too major.

Another disappointing design since it's just recycled parts.. Though I think I do prefer WM's (on the right) face print over Kopf's.

WM also has an alternate face print.

Kopf's Spider-Man Stealth Suit has spider-arm accessories that are unnecessary but hey, it's free. I wish I could compare these with the original but right now, they're all I have.

Kopf's fig on the left has a bit more shine on the mold, but I think it's also up to preference which you might want.

Aaand WM's back face print is great while Kopf doesn't have them.

I wanted to skip these, but Kopf's Spider-Man actually might be worth it to some. I don't care about the spider-arms anymore so it's not because of that.

It's because of those side prints on Kopf's Spider-Man! I don't think even Lego has those side prints.

Alignment on the back leg prints went a bit off though, unfortunately.

Wasn't able to get the WM version of this but this Kopf version doesn't look too good. But to be fair, even Lego's design of this minifig isn't so good. Kopf's beanie/mask lacks the black outline around the eyes that make it look like Spider-Man's eyes.

I prefer XINH's XH883 over this or even Lego's beanie/mask of Spider-Man.

That was just a quick comparison. It's kinda hard to decide which figs you want especially if lots brands have it, but if you can afford to, I would just recommend to get the original Lego minifigures instead. Especially now when they're at peak supply because if you wait some years, the prices will have increased already. Nonetheless, if you're just into bootlego, then I think it's best to see if XINH will do a better job or even if other brands will also clone these designs. For the price though, why not just get all of the available ones and mix and match them for the best result, lol.

I'm just glad AngeloMarcus Greenhills got both Kopf and WM variants, it really gives us collectors a choice. Plus, a phsyical store can even allow us to inspect the figs before purchase, yay! (as long as they're still in the bag)

Here are some AliExpress affiliate links of both Kopf and WM:

Though again, if you can, go get the originals!
