I'm not into EDM or DJ music as much so I'm not too familiar with this guy, but I do know he has a skin in Fortnite which probably adds to the reason for his popularity and consequently an instant set of 8 variants lol.
Personally, I think the best way that head/helmet "mold" was used was for Kopf's AIM Henchmen/Soldiers minifigures.
Kopf also previewed and already released their own set of Marshmello minifigures.
