Kopf KF6078: Various Naruto Minifigures Review

They look better in person than they do in the preview picture.

Before anything, lots of you have mentioned that they look identical to the Naruto minifigures from the brand, JMuLP. While I do agree that there are really heavy similarities, we're not sure if they're made by the same factory or if Kopf simply got their hands on the design. If you have these JMuLP Naruto minifigures and these new Kopf ones, feel free to let us know if they're the same (or if you think they are!).

Biggest question: how's the hair piece? There are four Naruto minifigures in the set and they all have the same molds for their hair and bandana (sorry, I don't know what those Ninja things are called haha). They're composed of three parts: the hair, the main band, and the excess band. The excess band attaches to the main band through a very tiny peg that is surprisingly sturdy. Normally, I'd be concerned about that peg getting removed but it seems fine here. The hair piece, like all the others in the set, is made of some sort of rubber material; basically it's not hard plastic.

You can choose to put on the band on the head first and then the hair or the hair onto the band first.

There's a tiny peg inside the rubber-ish hair piece but nothing that corresponds to it on the head band. Though despite that, the excess band will align with the hair! Great design, Kopf!

The prints are generally good. The printed head bands have some inconsistencies in terms of alignment and such, but they're not too much of a deal breaker in my opinion.

Side prints! Looks good from here.. but..

Those are actually slapped-on side prints! This is sad but I'm glad that Kopf is printing the bottom part instead of the top part. This'll make more sense with other designs (I'll talk more about this in other reviews).

They all have rubber hair pieces again. I know that lots of you guys don't like that but for me, as long as it looks and feels good, I'm not complaining. For these specifically, I think they're decent other than the black one in the middle.

 Not a fan of coats.

Glad that Kopf included the coat for those who might prefer it but thankfully they still put on side prints! Sasuke has slapped on arm prints too but since the bottom part is the printed part instead of the top part, he doesn't look as awkward. If the top portion (aka the shirt sleeves) are slapped-on-printed then just imagine a human person with a sleeveless shirt and a sticker shoulder pad on him. At least with the forearms printed on, it doesn't look as weird... (I hope lol)

There's a huge nub on the black hair piece as if it was carelessly removed from a runner.

Now Kakashi, I think, was made really well! No issues with prints or base minifigure plastic. The hair is made of a rubber material as well, the bands aren't though.

This is where it starts to be great! Wow! He has two eyes! His look in the anime and manga is that his other eye is covered by his mask. Kopf does that here too but without relying on printing.

They made the mold as if it were part of the face mask and such that it covers the eye.

Then, they made the rubber hair piece fit nicely with the band and easily too with the help of a molded peg!

The biggest issue as a whole though is that some of the hair pieces would easily be removed. This is due to the head bands preventing the hair pieces from fully connecting to the minifigure head. You could kragle them but of course that's not a sign of a good design. Though I wouldn't say they're too loose either, just be careful if you're gonna play around with them. Another potential issue are the rubber-ish hair pieces that again I think don't matter if they do the job well and for most of them here, they're alright.

General base minifigure plastic and print quality are good though! Glad to see that Kopf is getting really consistent with good plastic and good prints. I hope to see more from them!

Let's also not forget that this set is a great fresh set that's not Avengers Endgame related! LOL!

I got these from AngeloMarcus Greenhills. They also got a couple of new arrivals that I'll also be reviewing. I think I'll be prioritising WM's Ant-Man and Kopf's Mortal Kombat minifigures! Stay tuned!

  1. I looked at the alieexpress shop, but they don't sell sets. My son wants an specific set. When you order the minifigs @Alie sepe4rate, do you have to buy the arms and legs and body seperatly as well?!
