A lot of readers of my blog are unaware of what Lego is up to and rely only on knockoff news so I'm here to introduce those guys to the real deal! I highly recommend picking these guys up around the time they're new to make sure the prices are at the best possible point because they're at peak supply.

a lot of the figures have really useful alternate faces. also the nerd girl's shirt says "LEGO" in binary. and is the guy with the chameleon supposed to be a redone version of johnny thunder? (even though they already did an updated version of him in the first lego movie set "super secret police dropship"?) that swirly dog poo piece will be useful to reuseas cupcake frosting and ice cream. also it's kinda weird that they're doing a third blacktron figure... no love for m-tron.... although the gamer guy's shirt has blacktron 1, classic space, and m-tron logos all over it... so at least there's a reference to them. interesting take on the 90's fright knights too. and is this the first time they're reusing parts from licensed themes in a minifig series? poe dameron's hair/headset in green for the gamer guy, and the new version of the antman helmet for the blacktron figure.
