KORUIT KT1029: It Chapter Two Minifigures Review

Let's start with these two disappointing minifigures. Well, only one thing's disappointing about them but it's enough of a reason for a lot of us not to like them. The slapped on sleeve prints! KORUIT was known for making really amazing dual molded arms and then we get this. I hope this style of printing on arms stops for all brands in the future.

Other than that, prints and plastic quality are great.

Everyone else came with a balloon and this is how they're built.

The two studs sit inside the balloon to hold them through the stick and together.

Lazy designs? I also don't like how the yellow on the legs aren't the same as the yellow on the torso.

This one also has a misprint on the hair piece which I'm sure is an isolated case at least.

Nice faces again!

So these Pennywise variants aren't from It Chapter 2 and instead the old It movie. The white paint on the bald portion of the hair isn't as vibrant or solid as the white head. There are also some misprints.

This is the new Pennywise from the newer It movies. Perhaps the highlight of the set too? The two actually have different torsos but not by a lot.

KORUIT KT1029 Grading

Plastic Quality: 4.5/5
Pretty good quality even for the more unique parts like hair pieces and that neck thing for the new Pennywise. Despite that, there are some quality control issues such as big plastic nubs or marks on some pieces which just wouldn't allow this to get a 5/5.

Print Quality: 4/5
For the most part, they're pretty good. The deduction comes from quality control again but with a bigger penalty due to some prints being not the same as the molds like Pennywise's hair and Georgie's coat.

Build Quality: 5/5
Simple designs and as such do not present any problems.

Design Choice: 3.5/5
Maybe a bit higher but the set practically contains only 5 designs because three of them have almost the same designs. Still, they're not clones of anything so they deserve higher marks for that,

For It fans, this might be the best It Chapter Two set out there as of now. For others, well I really like the faces of the characters here and could be used for customs!
