First previewed here along with other anime mechas (WM6069)!
Overall, a decent minifigure!
Tiny red dot on one of the sword's sides.
The sword is made of a softer type of plastic which doesn't ruin it and even gives it more safety assuming kids will play with it.
The whole minifigure. I think it looks great and also feels great. I had no issues building him and articulating him.
I'm so glad WM printed on the side arms and even side legs because those details are essential for Voltes V especially given that he's a robot built of different vehicles.
There was an empty stud at the minifigure's chest/armor piece. Great for customizing? Or is my fig missing an accessory?
The removable parts: helmet, chest piece, waist piece. Had no issues with print and plastic for the most part.
There's still minimal printing on the base torso to complement the armor pieces!
Some people might find the minifigure a bit too glossy (might be the paint) but I don't think it ruins the figure. If anything, I prefer that over a rough surface on the minifigure molds.
I think AngeloMarcus Greenhills has been wanting this minifig for a while now (especially since Voltes V was such a big deal here in the Philippines) and so when this was announced, they tried to get it ASAP and here it is! The other mechas should be coming soon too so stay tuned for reviews!
