I'm pretty sure that those minifigures are based on the names I listed above. As for the names of the RC models, I'm not so sure.
Technically not like Speed Champions since they can't seem to fit minifigures as drivers. Despite that, the sizes seem almost the same as the usual Speed Champions.
Tamiya RCs were a huge deal here in the Philippines back then. I was too young to even appreciate them since you needed those tiny engines or motors or something (clearly I'm no expert in this). I just know this is a huge deal and clearly has an audience! Even now, it's coming back; there have even been some events organized by AngeloMarcus Greenhills here that has both bricks and Tamiya RC racing! Now we have a set that's the best of both worlds!
