Bricks Revolution Kickstarter Hong Kong 2019

We've seen some ridiculous, manipulative Chinese propaganda brick sets. What about something that's more interesting and helpful to a fight for freedom?

A lot of you might have heard that there have been a series of protests in Hong Kong recently. This is due to their freedoms and rights being threatened and as such, many citizens of Hong Kong are fighting the government.

The interesting thing is that I was in Hong Kong during the first few days of the protest, at least I think so. The people of Hong Kong were so peaceful in protest contrary to the protests I've seen elsewhere.

Plus, these aren't necessarily bootlegs too. The designs are 100% original and there's no minifigure which is what Lego has legal rights over.

Also, I'm not getting paid or anything to post this. I just really think this is a worthy cause.

    2. You can just simply reply the first comment. There is no pressure from CCP, they don't even care about a bunch of kids who buying cheap products from China. It's just a friendly advice to DTB that let blocks stay blocks, step out of something that you don't know much about if you are a grown up. Don't turning here a chaos battlefield.

    3. P.S: I am not quite like government there and don't take sides, things are not just black or white only. I don't feel comfortable to talk about politics here, just a expression, freedom of speech, right?

    5. Haven't been in the comments section of Blogger in so long, seeing this just now. Sorry about the delay.

I've seen footage of the protesters being violent and I am 100% against those and it broke my heart seeing those. Violence should never be the answer. Though while I have seen the protesters being violent, so has their government. Just today I saw footage of their police shooting a protester and the protester bleeding and was later seen not moving. I hope he was able to recover.
Additionally, it is difficult for me not to support the pro-democracy side of Hong Kong given that democracy has allowed most of us to freely express ourselves, even me being able to express my opinions about our hobby. Add to that, in my country the Philippines, the CPC has been claiming our own lands/seas as their own and have made a lapdog out of our own president. As such, seeing chaos happen in HK under the influence of the CPC has made it very clear to me and countless others that the protesters, the people of Hong Kong, are simply fighting for their rights, their freedoms, and for their country.

I also understand the argument of keeping bricks as bricks and keeping politics out of it, but at the same time, politics will always be a part of our lives. Rights, freedoms, taxes, laws, etc.. all of these are handled through politics and will affect [and are already affecting] our hobbies.
