WM WM788: Armored Thanos Minifig Review

The preview had the Stark Nano Gauntlet, but mine didn't?

Aside from the lack of the Stark Gauntlet, this guys looks great!

The details on the armor are great, both in terms of the plastic mold and the print. Of course though, there are some small inconsistencies or misprints, but generally great especially for the price.

 All around armor!

Glad that they decided to still print interesting designs underneath the armor. Though the torso prints look a bit different compared to what we see in the movie.

The greaves look great too, but this is also where I'll start with what I think makes the minifigure not worth it for some collectors. The details are really great, but some will argue that it's too detailed that it's starting to stray away from the "Lego system". That's where the greaves present a problem: because of the details on it, it sacrifices the fig's ability to stick to studded plates (in this case it's alright since there are no studs in front or behind Thanos).

Additionally, the overly detailed bracers and sword prevent good articulation from the minifigure.

If you're a huge fan of Marvel and specifically the MCU, this is a must-have. Though, if you're an avid fan of the Lego system, you might find yourself disappointed. This minifigure is great, but it's a bit too great that it might not even be considered a minifigure anymore with all those accessories. This is where Lego's genius is [, at least most of the time,] remembered because they dedicate resources and funds into making sure that their minifigures have no problems with compatibility with each other, including parts such as studded plates which clearly this Thanos does not care about.

Not a lot of new stuff recently and that's highly possibly because of the virus going on in China and the whole world. Hopefully things calm down soon and nothing worse happens so that we can all be safe and also be able to enjoy our hobbies.
