This was a robot that appeared in the Studio Ghibli movie, Castle in the Sky. I haven't watched it but I know that Ghibli movies are generally amazing movies, including the designs within those movies.
This specific design is also originally found in Rebrickable. As always, I highly urge you to purchase the instructions from the original designer to support them. We know that LEGO pieces are expensive, and they're also expensive for these designers so let's support them by getting their instructions along with these generic plastic bricks if you choose to get this from AliExpress.
