Sheng Yuan SY1461: Spider Book Instant Spider-Man Minifigure Collection Names List

We won't be doing an in-depth review anymore but we can tell you easily that the minifigure quality is great! As for the book, we didn't get it anymore but we're sure it's similar to other SY sets (which is a good thing in terms of quality).

As you can see, some of them came with extra accessories. These accessories came in bags separate from the minifigures themselves so look out for them.

Here are some poorly-captured photos of the accessories not in the images above:

(I should've attached one of the gold spider arms to the comic version Iron Spider though.


There were also more than enough of these blast holders and shurikens (I don't know why) included. (The other items around those two dividers aren't from the Spider-Book.)


There was also 1 spare hand for each Spider-Man minifigure.


Speaking of hands, Peni Parker came with hands like this. Interesting. She also came with one piece spare hand with the same design, thankfully.

Some things I didn't like about the set of minifigures:

Spider-Ham's nose is a separate piece from the head and was a bit difficult to attach, mainly because it was a bit scary to try and apply force especially around the ears.


Ultimate Spider-Man's cape's hole is too tight. I thin you can cut it a bit though, but we just pushed it in.

Plus, Venom came with 2 of the same arm, which sucks cause they're printed arms. (A bit thankful that it's just Venom though and not one of the unique Spider-Man figures.) One of our Miles Morales minifigures' face was also a bit smudged.

Overall, Sheng Yuan did a great job, quality-wise. I love most of the suits here but other iconic suits are still missing. (Ahem, Black Suit Spider-Man that's so simple to make, ahem) I think they can easily make another book with more Spider-Man designs though since there was a Spider-Verse event that featured hundreds, if not more, Spider-Man designs.
