I'm surprised we haven't been seeing a lot of new Lego-compatible Super Mario Bros. sets or minifigures since Lego seems to be really invested in the Nintendo franchise. Hopefully, we can see more in the future so that we can have some budget-friendly Lego-compatible Mario collections!

Lego made a blunder going with block versions of Mario instead of mini figures like Nintendo wanted. It was a single Lego designer who made the decision.. A shame. I wonder if WM will end up doing a Mario line. They've done awesome Sonic figures. A big Fig Bowser is a must! Zelda or Smash bros would be great as well. A lot of opportunity and eager buyers for sure.
