What's new is just the axe, I think.
I don't think this version of Bumblebee had the axe, so it's not really an essential accessory.
The best way to know if you're getting version 2 is to check the pieces. This new version claims to have 3579+ pieces while the original version 1 claims to just have had 3500+ pieces.
