these look better than xinh's batch. better shield's proportion, head prints align with lego instead of over exaggerated emotions like xinh's, better armours, more variants to choose from

these are mirkwood sentry (based on the lego hobbit game) and they wear glittering silver armors there. most of koruit's batches are based on lego games instead of drawing directly from the movies/series because it would be easier to design lego's elements that way. Although even in the movies royal guards of mirkwood also wear armors somewhat silver, only the shield is goldish. you need to get your facts right, or get yourself an eye-exam for color blind.

woah really? that's way too much! but that's probably just early resellers' price. maybe it would cool down when the stocks hit every store

    2. I've checked again and a store I buy from regularly has them at $9.70 for the set or $1.50 each which is more like the regular price

now that's more like it. i was a wee bit afraid Koruit might up the price cuz they've been invested in so much new molds. glad to hear that!

    5. aah i got in. okay koruit's elves look mighty fine, the usual quality of koruit. but dayuuuuuuuuuum Xinh's elves look ugly af my friend. Their facial expression is way too exaggerated and their armor is so dull and so -- smooth, like there's no detail to it at all. The shield is way too small though the helm is pretty okay. Xinh's batch looks way uglier in real time image tbh.

  9. Got my first batch of XINH elves today. In summary:
    1) Figures as such have good quality, better than Koruit (more accurate, hands and arms are always fitting). Designs of figures are not so great
    2) Accessories are really neat. Color and texture of pearl gold is more shiny than Koruit, and this I like better.
    3) Weapons have some ornaments, but not as excessive as Koruit, and this I like better.
    4) Really cool are large bows and golden quivers of archers. First golden elven quiver that looks like original material.
    5) Most figures come with two weapons, which is a bonus (like sword and dagger or sword and spear)
    6) Only real disappointment: Armors. They are dual molded with a plastic cape, and that piece looks really crappy.
