From this bigger set.
First of all, why do I have two? Well the first one I got was a mess, but only for one part at least.
This is my first one. As you can see, the helmet print is horribly aligned.
Then I got a second one and it's just amazing.
Let's start with the fig without the armor accessories. He looks great even without the armor that I wanna get him the usual helmet in black-grey-blue to make that suit a mark in itself. Quality is great too as usual in terms of print and plastic.
Side print is also interesting. I love that they included these even though most of it will be covered with the armor.
The back view and an alternate face.
One helmet, different from the usual Iron Man helmet.
One chest piece that is a copy of Halo's Mjolnir armor.
Two leg armor pieces.
Two arm/wrist armor pieces.
All of them fit nicely onto the fig!
The only problems of this minifig are:
1) The eyes of the minifig do not align with the helmet, a solution would be to use a printless head of the color of your preference for the eyes.
2) It can't stand on a baseplate filled with studs, as in the feet are too big to fit on let's say a 5x5 plate filled with studs. You need it to be just flat around where the feet will stick. A solution would be to attach a 2x1 flat brick under his feet then display him on your usual plate, or even include the whole included baseplate if you have the space.
A possible problem might be your luck with quality control too..
If you look close enough, you'll see how some silver prints aren't aligned with the blue prints. I obviously had bigger problem on my first fig's helmet, but these might still bother some perfectionists and I totally understand.
Other than that, they're great!
Side view. The chest armor covers the shoulder of the fig while the wrist/arm armor covers the uhh wrists.. Haha. To attach the wrist armor, you have to remove the hand then insert the armor in between; it's simple and thanks to SY plastic quality, easy.
Back view. Master Chief!? JK! Great amount of details even on the back!
He's also known as MG0003.
I feel like this minifig, or this minifig set in general, is a test run for SY to see if Iron Man is still a big seller. I do hope SY is happy with their sales so that they will make new Iron Man figs again, and even remake the old, rare ones.
I also wonder where the blue came from, as in people would've been happy with a black and grey/silver version of this guy without the blue. The blue also made quality control much harder for them. Hmmmm. Still though, I commend SY for the quality! Most people don't seem to have issues with their SY677-1s, I hope yours are good too! I'm just lucky AngeloMarcus Greenhills had a lot of stock of this guy that I was able to get another one easily!

Possibly the Mark 43 or the Stealth Suit from the comics.
Thanks to Muhammad for the heads up. It could be inspired by that suit, but it also might not be. Still, it's better than leaving the suit nameless..
