POGO PG2001-PG2008: Various Mobile Suit Gundam Minifigs Review

(Yes, those shields are thick.)

Before anything, all of them come with these three components. Gundam MKII-2 has these in dark blue though. So yes, the V fin attaches to the helmet. The helmet as a cutout for the eyes of the minifig head to be seen. The backpack is identical to each other.


One of the helmets had an issue wherein the v fin's plastic didn't fully form as you can see (right side). You can also see how the paint job is horrible, and this is the case for a lot of unique POGO molds.


Just an overview of all of them along with the eyes they have. Yes, the heads are simple plain white heads with printed eyes that will align with the helmet quite well.

I'll review them as a whole.

The printing is.. different? The printing is 3D in a way that you can feel and see the lines and the prints; they have a shape basically. If you have XINH's Spider-Boy, you'll know what I'm talking about, but these POGO figs have it less thick. From afar, it still looks good at least though.

The molds on the other hand feel okay, but they're not amazing. The paint on some molds were horrible for example. The shields were thick. The backpack was great though.

Here they are compared to those old SD Gundam Gashapons. I used to collect those too but they were cancelled in favor of better [but more expensive] kinds of SD Gundam Gasahpons so I quit.

Personally, I think these figs are nice to have, but I wouldn't praise them too much. I'm just hoping that POGO keeps improving, especially for their upcoming bigfigs set.

I'll be passing by AngeloMarcus Greenhills later for a haul, hopefully. I still owe you guys other reviews, but i gotta get there asap so I don't run out of stocks! Haha!
