Lele L009, L012: Emmet and Gordon Zola Minifigs from "The Lele Movie" Review

Nice characters, not so nice quality. Lele has been a surprisingly good brand considering that previous Lele figs have been of bad quality. Now for these ones, they're new but Lele has released some "Lele Movie" figs from way back already, when they weren't so good in terms of quality. It seems like these two, specifically Emmet is the same as that old one because the quality really is bad.


They might have tried to copy the brick built battery included from one the official sets. Though they didn't do a good job since it's not at all accurate. If you guys have information on what that piece on Emmet's back is, feel free to share!

Gordon Zola does come with a coffee cup accessory that I think is a must-have for MOCers or people with cafes.


Plastic quality isn't good. Gordon Zola would've been much better but the arms moved too loosely. Emmet on the other hands had barely acceptable plastic material. The prints for Gordon are at least good though, but Emmet's printing seemed off as you can see in the picture.

Even the alternate face seems a bit off.

Too bad that when the movie came out, not a lot of bootleg brands were out yet, and even then, only Lele really focused on it. I wonder how the brands will react once the sequel comes out, and even how TLG will react.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm loving and am still excited for the new Lele [that I even made a set list for them] but these two really just aren't that good. I'm hoping that they do improve and that they release their figs soon too, since many of their previews have remained previews with no real releases yet.
