POGO PG8152: 8 [of 17] CMF Series 18 Mascot Minifigs Clones Review

First previewed here!

PG1247 - Cowboy Costume Guy
PG1248 - Firework Guy
PG1249 - Party Clone
PG1250 - Cactus Girl
PG1251 - Unicorn Guy
PG1252 - Spider Suit Boy
PG1253 - Cat Costume Girl
PG1254 - Elephant Girl

We've yet to see the others cloned by any other brand, surprisingly.

Let's start with these three. Overall the quality is decent, of course it's not at all at par with TLG's figs but I would say they're worth getting at least. The plastic feels and looks good enough and the print does the job. Again, they're not great but definitely better than many of POGO's previous unique figs.

Views of the sides.

It's worth noting that POGO figs often have with undesirable plastic nubs, one is pretty visible on the Cowboy Costume Guy's tail.

A closer look.
The two horse accessories are great and I love them! The hat is also quite noteworthy; if I'm not mistaken this is the same hat as the SDCC Sheriff Deadpool and it's important since the current clones (Kopf and MG) don't have the hat mold.

Now for the Firework guy. The whole suit attaches to the fig via the red tip; the red tip has an anti-stud underneath that attaches to the head and the red tip itself attaches to the blue tube. The print doesn't look too good though and I think it's because the prints are bright while the mold is dark.

Another close up. The red bowtie is a welcome addition, since it's not as common as we'd expect. The balloons are also great and the quality is great too!

Now for these three. Same comments about them regarding the ones on top.

Unfortunately the horn seemed a bit too thick for the helmet's hole.. Additionally, and as mentioned already, POGO figs have a plastic nub issue and that's visible again on the unicorn helmet's nose.

Side views. Yes, the cactus arms can move!

View of the back. Same comments regarding the quality again.

A closer look at the cactus fig. Great to have an alternate face and that even underneath the suit we have fig prints.

Another look at the Unicorn knight. Loving the shield and the print is decent.

Another close up.

Now for these two. The spider is probably my personal favorite and thankfully the quality is quite decent too, not just the figs themselves but even their accessories.

The spider helmet's eyes did seem a bit off but nothing was too misaligned or anything like that.

The spider accessory is pretty plain and not so good compared to other brands that have made it, but this is the first mouse (in that variant) from bootleggers and I can say that POGO did a decent job.

The figs themselves. Not bad.

Pretty plain sides, but you can see the spider backpack accessory here.

View of the back.

Some back prints which I'm happy to have.

A closer look at the spider accessory for the Spider Mascot. Could be used for MOCs, right?

Another thing worth noting is that the parts attach rather well with each other. Meaning that no parts got stuck anywhere throughout removing parts and all that. Also, these are huge improvements over POGO's previous mascot figs.

I wonder if or when POGO will release the other CMF Series 18 figs. Do expect me to review them once AngeloMarcus Greenhills gets them in stock! In the meantime, I've got more reviews from my recent AngeloMarcus Greenhills haul.
