What do you guys think?
Parts used:
Head - Generic skull (but the one I got was this one from AX Brand (Affiliate link))
Flame accessory/helmet - Nexo Knights' Flama
Torso, legs - Black Manta (XINH)
Shoulder pads - MOTU's Beastman (POGO)
When it was revealed that he's an alternate dimension Frank Castle, his torso design changed in the comics to have the Punisher skull on it. Unfortunately, we don't have existing figs that have that and so I decided to make my version a pre-Frank Castle revelation Cosmic Ghost Rider.
Rightmost is his current design, the skull is more visible. I actually prefer the new design, but again, we have limited choices. Even Black Manta's design isn't as close to the comic design as I would've wanted.. I just really really wanted a Cosmic Ghost Rider so I MOCed one!
This guy's actually been in my storage for a while now, the moment AngeloMarcus Greenhills got the Manta fig, I MOCed one already. (As well as some other MOCs that I'll be posting soon!)
I also just recently made an Instagram where I'll be sharing more pictures of my own figs and these MOCs too. I'm thinking of doing what I used to do in my DownTheBlocks FlickR in Instagram instead since more and more people are leaving FlickR already.

ReplyDeleteHi Mr DTB! your MOC is superb as always! Since you were thinking about how to achieve the head effect on Cosmic Ghost Rider, i would suggest you to try using the head of "Xinh 812 Surtur" but you might want to wipe out the drawn horn on the minifigure head. I am not saying that is the best solution, but you should try it.
