This is only interesting because HJLepin seems to be a new brand, unfortunately all they've been making are variants and no new characters, just like this set.
Like most boxed minifigs, they come with a combiner build. The bricks were of decent quality though which is good news. Unfortunately though, the mech is highly flimsy, has bad or limited articulation, and generally doesn't look good mainly because Captain Marvel doesn't even need her own mech.
The whole upper half attaches to the legs with just this. Though to be fair, people aren't really gonna buy this for the mech, people will buy this for the minifigs, and are these minifigs worth it?
Before anything, they came with these waist pack accessories that are okay in quality but unnecessary for Star Force characters. I just ended up removing them.
These are also the guns they came with. Minn-Erva came with that rifle, which HJLepin thinks can stand in for a sniper but I don't think so lol. The others get that pistol. I think I've seen that pistol mold from other lesser-known brands such as JLB. Are they related, I don't want to assume especially since plastic and print quality on these guys are much better than JLB's.
Hexagonal anti-studs. They do the job and don't look too bad.
Curved feet/toes.
Korath came with this sword pack that I found weird.
Because it attached through a peg, there's a huge gap in between the pack and the torso. Maybe to make room for the included waist pack?
Weird Captain Marvel face.
On the left is WM662 Captain Marvel. Much better, right?\
HJLepin 6920 Grading:
Plastic Quality: 4/5
Plastic quality looked and felt great. If the designs were better, they'd pass off as a top bootlego brand.
Print Quality: 4/5
4 seems high, but the quality really is good; the designs are the problem. These designs look unfinished and the colors look off.
Build Quality: 5/5
Figs were easy to build, had no articulation issues too. Even the bricks were of good quality and the mech was easy to build; they didn't hurt my fingers unlike other bad brick brands.
Design Choice: 1/5
Just variants here and not even interesting variants. Plus, the designs were just horrible to the point that you'd think the print quality is bad because the designs look unfinished.
HJLepin has potential. Their figs were decent in quality but the design choices as of now are lacking. I don't mind the curved toes and hexagonal anti-studs especially if quality is decent; it's way better than POGO. I just hope they get a better design team soon if not improve their current one.
