XINH XH1255-XH1258: Spider-Man Far from Home Elementals Bigfigs (Hydro-Man, Molten Man, Sandman, Cyclone) Review

XINH 1255 - Water Elemental / Hydro-Man
XINH 1256 - Fire Elemental / Molten Man
XINH 1257 - Earth Elemental / Sandman
XINH 1258 - Air Elemental / Cyclone

I guess spoiler season is done so it's safe to say that these guys were just Mysterio's illusions but despite that, they are still based on real Marvel characters. Even Lego themselves have named Molten Man and Hydro-Man in their sets even though they were never named in the movie. Their names, as in who they were based on, are listed above.

Molten Man and Hydro-Man both came with these Infinity Gauntlet molds. They're really just there to give them bigger fists. They also came with a complete set of 6 "Infinity Stones" that of course, aren't really Infinity Stones.

Cyclone comes with two of these claw things that we first saw with various Venom bigfigs. The clear parts are pretty good with the sharp piece having a more fogged up effect and a rubber material that still ends up making it look like it's made from wind. Sandman gets a hammer.

Sandman's hammer comes with prints!

If you look closely at Hydro-Man and Sandman's faces, they're almost the same. The base eyes and mouth are almost identical but thankfully XINH added some sand/rock effects on the Earth Elemental.

They're both using Hulk molds hence the removable hair pieces.

These two, on the other hand, are using Killer Croc molds. I'm not complaining as I think these are clever reskins!

XINH XH1255-XH1258 Grading:

Plastic Quality: 4.5/5
Some scratches here and there that might be more visible because of the transparent parts but still not big enough to give them lower grades. Generally good bigfigs just like their usual XINH bigfigs.

Print Quality: 5/5
I see no issues with the quality of the prints and even found them interesting!

Build Quality: 5/5
Sturdy bigfigs! I also appreciate the pegs and connectors being the same transparent color as opposed to using generic ones which make the overall look of the builds more elemental-sy lol!

Design Choice: 4/5
That's pretty high considering they're variants, right? But I really think these guys deserved bigfigs and I'm glad XINH did these ones. They're way better than seeing another Hulk from Endgame bigfig. Plus, some people don't even like the Molten Man mech build and so having an alternative like this one is a good thing.

Overall, I think they're pretty worth it. These guys are actually a great thing to see in terms of bigfigs especially since the recent bigfig previews we've been getting are weird and unnecessary [like those Spider-Man or Black Panther bigfigs..].

I bet someone will call me out as well and say that they're not *insert the name of the character they were based on* and that they're just elementals! I know, I just find those names boring and so will instead choose to call them by their "comic book names."

These four came from my recent AngeloMarcus Greenhills haul and I've got a couple more up for review so stay tuned!

If you're interested in the Molten Man mech instead, then do check out Lego's Spider-Man Far from Home sets! If you can't afford them though, PRCK released their own which I reviewed here.
