First previewed here along with 3 other Hulkbuster variants.
Excuse the bed sheets lol, I just took a picture right after unpacking them to show you guys the parts included. And yes, they were inside the plastic bag unassembled as seen above.
The L-shaped piece has two studs on its base where your minifigure will stand on. You insert it into the first half of the torso; there's a groove there where the L-shaped piece will slide in nicely.
This is how it'll look like once the piece is inserted into the groove.
Then you can simple attach the other half of the body.
The helmet of the Hulkbuster also came unattached so you'll have to do that on your own. Be careful when applying pressure since there were times that the plastic stem (from the helmet to the pegs) felt a bit flimsy. Try to apply equal pressure when pushing the pegs inside the body (if that makes sense).
Just an interesting note, the body came with those cross-shaped pegs for the arms but the arms themselves just had round holes. No complaints though since they fit in easily and allowed the arms to swivel.
The finished product. I think he looks good, especially from this angle. The plastic quality is highly decent, there's nothing to complain about. All possible movement feel stress-free as well.
From this angle, it's a bit weird. His posture is not straight; it looks like he's pushing forward his tummy/groin area. My assumption is that they did this to ensure the maxifig can balance well, and it does.
There are also a total of 4 studs at the back (which explains the guns on their War Machine variant). These are great and are not obviously studs from a distance. They fit in well, design-wise.
That's how the lid opens. It's a bit loose but not as loose as other Hulkbusters (like the JiSi Hulkbuster below). You still won't be able to display him upside down without gluing the helmet.
The maxifig also came with this Bruce Banner minifigure. This is a really good quality minifigure. The prints are flawless and when I held him in my hand, he really just felt great (especially compared to POGO or other poor-quality brands).
What it looks like on the inside. Minifigures can easily stand inside with ample space for some minifigures that might have armor.
Here is XINH's Hulkbuster beside the JiSi/Decool Hulkbuster. In terms of how it works (how the minifigure stays inside the mech suit), they're identical. The designs though are obviously different.
Quality-wise, I can recommend both of them. No issues with plastic and print for the most part! In terms of design, it's really up to your personal preference.
If you value the LEGO system more though, then you might prefer XINH's because of the hands being the same as a maxifig's hands and it scales well beside a Hulk bigfig. If you want something more chibi, then there's Decool's/JiSi's maxifig.
