XINH XH1159: War Machine Buster (Hulkbuster) Maxifig/Bigfig Review

The 2nd of four of XINH's new Hulkbusters to come out. Maybe that's also why they haven't been as active in releasing more new designs?

This guy was first previewed here.

For majority of this review, it'll be the same opinions I had on the first (Hulkbuster V2) that I had since the quality is almost identical.

Let's start with the minifigure. Decent minifigure quality, just like what you'd expect from a XINH minifigure. This one is War Machine MK 6 and seems to be slightly different than previous XINH War Machine MK 6 minifigures.

At first, I actually thought I was missing the arms and other parts of the maxifig but it turns out this guy comes in two plastic bags.

Even with the minifigure armor, War Machine can still fit in the Hulkbuster cockpit.

Now for the Hulkbuster itself. Again, check out my previous review to know about quality.

As a summary though, I find no issues quality-wise on the base figure itself. There might be some small paint issues here and there, but nothing worth crying over.

If you went here to find out how to build the War Machine hulkbuster. Here are the XH1159 instructions:
As a bonus, that's also the instructions for XH1160 when it gets released.

I really love the build methods used for the guns.

That's where the back pack attaches to.

The biggest issue with this Hulkbuster is that the quality of the bricks is below average. After seeing these pieces, I think I'll avoid expensive XINH brick sets. The plastic didn't feel good and there were some instances that I found it difficult to put them together. The most disappointing pieces too are the binocular pieces that they use as gun barrels. Typically, LEGO's binocular pieces have tiny holes on the side of the binoculars you're seeing above; the real XINH pieces don't though which makes the gatling gun look a bit weird when inspected closely.

Do I still recommend? Yeah definitely. The brick quality might not be the best, but the base maxifigure is still great. Those bricks can still be replaced too anyway.
