POGO PG1103-PG1106: 2nd Hlaf of 1st Masters of the Universe Minifigs Review

Sorceress and Teela. Uhhhh, well they're good because of the new molds, but in terms of print.. nope. Before anything, the plastic quality is alright, it's like the usual POGO fig, and the molds' plastic quality are alright too. The worse part about these figs though is the print quality, not the design because that's up to personal preference, but the quality.


Closer look at the weapons. New molds for MOCs?


Side prints. Teela has that gold thing on her arm.


A look at the back. The wings might be a useful part for MOCers. Also, Teela doesn't have back armor mold and I'm not sure if she should have one [as in in the show].


A look at Sorceress' back without the wings and Teela's front without the armor. Weird design but oh well.


These are the accessories. The eyes on Sorceress' helmet aren't as consistent as one would prefer.

Overall the two aren't great. Maybe not even good. The molds are great though, but the figs in general are just bad and that's because of the print quality of the figs.. Sorceress especially, she had smudges and both had inconsistent skin print with the skin mold but Sorceress' was way worse.


Moving on to Tri-klops and Zodac. These two are the same in terms of quality, but maybe a bit better on the print side. They do have their own issues though: namely how the helmets don't align with their head prints.. Not too sure about Tri-Klops if it's meant to be like that but the circle on the face isn't centered and but Zodac's mouth is clearly not aligned with the helmet. It's a shame because the helmets are great!

Back print. Like most of the other figs in the set, their armors are just for the front.


Underneath. You can see how the legs' skin still isn't consistent with the overall skin and we actually see this problem in a lot of figs lately..

If you're a MOTU fan, these guys are still worth getting. They're not great though. I hope this serves as a practice set for POGO so they can deliver better molds and figs in the future.

Also, sorry for the late review, I  got these guys from AngeloMarcus Greenhills last weekend but only had the time to really do the review now. I'll try to be quicker when the second wave comes out.
