POGO PG8127: Elsa Bloodstone, Aquaman, Inque, and More Marvel/DC Minifigs Review

First previewed here!

POGO has seen better days.
POGO will see better days.

PG458 - Aquaman
PG459 - Elsa Bloodstone
PG460 - Scarlet Witch

These are the accessories they came with. Elsa gets some new gun molds, and they look and feel great. Aquaman on the other hand (no pun intended) came with two hook hands (1 spare, 1 for the other arm) but they just don't fit inside the minifig.. The issue was that the arm's hole was probably too shallow or the hook's stem was too long.. Shame.

Quality wise, these figs are still similar to the previous POGO superhero sets.. Blurry printing and okay plastic quality. From some distance, they look fine though.

Side view. Elsa's got side prints. Her hair is also unique, if not the first time it appeared.

Great hair for Elsa, but I wouldn't test the hair's durability.. A weak force seems like it could possibly break it... though light touches wouldn't bend it.

No alternate faces.

PG461 - Commander A
PG462 - Inque
PG463 - Snowflame

Quality is the same for the others.. Blurry prints and prints that can be felt by your fingers when touched.

Three not-so-popular characters, but superhero collectors might appreciate!

Side views. Gread to see side arm and leg prints though!

No alternate faces.

Also, Commander A's shield is simply a Captain America shield.

PG464 - Surge

Not much to say again other than quality is the same as the others.. Though again, from a distance they're fine.

These arms look like they can be used for future MOCs.. Hmmm.

Still no alternate face, but I love the consistency of the torso design. Too bad the signs aren't printed to really get that tube look.

PG465 - Mockingbird

Finally, a comics version of Mockingbird! Great design but again, implementation isn't so great.

Side view. Good side leg prints!

Behind.

What's great about this set is that most of them are new designs and are arguably must-haves. I'd still say they're worth the time and purchase, but I do hope this review helped you in deciding if you want to have them for yourselves or not.

Elsa Bloodstone is certainly better than my MOC though!
