First previewed here!
On the left is Decool's Hulkbuster, on the right is Sheng Yuan's Hulkbuster, and of course the middle is Lele's.
My personal favorite? Sheng Yuan's Hulkbuster that came with their SY583 Civil War Airport Battle. Though Decool's is more accurate to TLG since it's based on Marvel Superheroes [1]'s game design. Lele's is.. cute? Haha!
SY583; rare set. I get a lot of inquiries regarding this guy, but he's really hard to get now. Since Kopf is known for re-releasing the same bigfigs found in these kinds of sets (Groot, Kingpin, Colossus, Abomination) with good, if not same, quality, I'm hoping they re-release this Hulkbuster along with the others (Kurse and bigfig Doombot).
Moving back to Lele. These are the feet. The clutch wasn't as strong as usual bricks, but it wasn't too loose too. Much smaller [and cuter] legs as compared to the others behind. Also, they align on plates, unlike some of SY's bigfigs that have non-straight feet.. LOL.
Moving on. Plastic quality is pretty good! No realy complaints here. Some nubs here and there, but nothing too major. The prints are minimal but good, though some gold prints weren't as complete or spread out as we'd prefer.
Side view. The construction of the fig felt solid, but you do see that there's a gap in between the front and back. Is it fragile? Doesn't seem like it, it's hard enough to take apart that I wasn't able to.
Back view. Plastic mold was great.
Generally a good quality bigfig, but as far as designs go, it's not the best. I'd say it's a cute, chibi Hulkbuster that's still deserving a slot in your collection.
I do hope they release more unique bigfigs!
Also, Lele has this in blue to represent the Igor mark. I'm hoping AngeloMarcus Greenhills releases that one too along with the others in the preview, and if they do, I'll try to review and compare with Decool's Igor.
How many Hulkbuster designs are there? Maybe our Iron Man Minifig Guide can help you!
